Here's the deal. There are as many different ways to run a tug as there are boats. The work days are rarely the same for very long and depending on the work load in your area, you may be asked to go above and beyond to keep the company afloat. This kind of variety is suited for a person that can "roll with the punches". The most successful boatmen you'll come across are the ones that are able to adjust to the sometimes adverse conditions that exist aboard tugs. Life isn't unbearable- most times it's considered pleasant even in a heavy industry like ours, but when the boating life sends curve balls, they can be unnerving.
Thanks for taking the survey.
